A Twist on a Half-Moon Manicure

Hello everyone! I've had BUTTER London Bluey for a while, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint!  I snapped up Bluey, Wallis and Pillarbox Red back when Coterie had a crazy deal going on.  Thanks to Coterie and some other sales, by BUTTER London collection has grown by leaps and bounds, haha.  Bluey is a gorgeous teal shimmer metallic.  The first coat is watery and a bit patchy but by the second coat, it's perfect. I was dying to see how it would look next to gold so I paired it with Essie Good as Gold.

This manicure was really simple to achieve, especially if you use reinforcement stickers like I did.  This time I got fancy and applied them sideways.  Once the polish was dry, I dotted using Bluey and Good as Gold.  So simple right?

Let's get social!

  1. Pretty combo. I need to remember your reinforcement sticker idea for even curves. Mine tend to get wonky.

    1. Thanks! I agree, that's why I'm always looking our for deals. Ulta, Macy's and other retailers usually do a Buy 2, Get 1 free deal a few times a year. Also sign up for emails from Butter, they also have promos a few times a year as well. Hope this helps!

    1. Thanks, Janine. Sometimes (ok, a lot of times) I like just having an accent nail, it takes less time and still looks pretty.
